    Summary of the course

     

    This Duty of Care course prepares learners for working in the relevant sectors, providing them with an understanding of the duty of care that underpins their roles and responsibilities within their settings. 

     

    Learners will gain critical insights into the dilemmas that may arise between the duty of care and the rights of an individual to make choices and take acceptable risks.  

     

    Learners will also learn why it is important that individuals know how to make complaints, the agreed procedures for making complaints, and their own role in responding to complaints.

    7. Know why it is important that individuals know how to make a complaint
    8. Know how to respond to complaints 
    9. Understand the main points of agreed procedures for handling complaints

    • The process of enrolment

      The process of enrolment is as follows: 

      When the buyer fully completes payment on the checkout, the buyer gets access to a downloadable acknowledgement explaining the next step. 

       

      At the same time, we receive an email notification regarding the purchase, including the buyer's details and their email address. 

       

      The buyer is contacted by email within 24 hours of payment, to obtain the names and details of each learner.  

       

      Enrolments are on a named person basis, and therefore, the buyer must reply to our email and provide us with the specific details requested. 

       

      Once the buyer has replied to our email request and provides us with the requested details, each learner gets a separate Learner Account on the Learning Management System (LMS), gets enrolled into the relevant learning resources.

       

      Each learner is then sent their own login email with instructions on how to use their unique express sign-in link to login, access their learning account, and the courses provided to them. 

       

    • Refund Policy

      Our Refund Policy is in keeping with the Consumer Rights Act (2015) as applicable to digital content. 

      If, as a consumer, you change your mind about your course purchase, you can apply for a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided that you haven't accessed any part of your course material.  

      Please note that you are no longer eligible for refund if you have accessed any part of the course material, or communicated with any course tutors.   

      If someone is eligible for refund, we will issue them with a credit note.
